The executive committee of the EAJS is glad to announce that the next Congress will take place in Ravenna on July 25-29, 2010. The theme of the Congress will be ‘Judaism in the Mediterranean Context’.
The opening session will be held on the afternoon of Sunday July 25th 2010, and the conference will close in the evening on Thursday July 29th. Proposals for papers are welcome from all scholars in the various fields of Jewish studies. Proposals for papers (20 minutes 10 minutes for discussion), containing a title and a 300-word abstract, should be sent on the attached form to the Congress Secretariat (eajs.ravenna2010@gmail.com) by 31 October 2009, indicating in which of the 16 sections of the Congress the lecture might best be placed.
Proposals must be accompanied by a brief CV, return mailing address, email address and telephone number.
